Golden Village
Golden Village, a Chinese restaurant located on the lobby floor and open daily for lunch at 11.30-14.30 till dinner at 18.00 – 22.30. The design is of a traditional Chinese palace with gold to accent the designs. Chef Prasit Jariyayothin has garnered more than a decade of experience in the kitchens of many 5-star hotels.
Highlights of the Golden Village, other than the great food and interior designs are in the creativity and use of materials to complement each other to create a unique feel and atmosphere. The concept was to create a Chinese setting right inside the hotel itself adding a touch of ‘modern’ as well. A huge chandelier hangs from the middle of the ceiling accompanied by golden wavering curtains with 4 golden beams create a sense of Chinese elegance. Lighting and shadow creation plays also another important role in displaying the design and creating the overall atmosphere. Luxury is an understatement when it comes to the design of the Golden Village, the name just says it all, ‘the Village of Gold”
